CRR Conference 2014

Directions

The Conference will take place at

Devonshire Hall
Cumberland Road
Leeds, LS6 2EQ

You can find train timetable information at www.nationalrail.co.uk. Please note that booking tickets online (rather than buying tickets at the train station) can be a lot cheaper in the UK.

There is a taxi rank outside the main entrance of the rail station. The taxi fare to Devonshire Hall should be about £4.50. The number 1 and the number 95 service leave every 10 minutes from Infirmary Street on City Square close to the rail station - ask the driver for Leeds Girl's High School. Cumberland Road is on the other side of the road; the Devonshire main entrance is second left.

Leeds Bradford Airport is about 10 miles from the city centre and a taxi will cost approximately £15*. There are buses from the airport to the bus station and several buses from there to Leeds Girls' High School which is opposite Cumberland Road.

Other well-connected airports in the area are Manchester Airport (approximately 75 minutes by train to Leeds train station), East Midlands airport (120 minutes), Newcastle airport (120 minutes), and Liverpool John Lennon airport (100 minutes). Leeds can also be reached by train from any of the London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, City) within approximately 3-4 hours.

* Prices are based on Arrow Cars, the only licensed taxi company operating a door to door service from Leeds Bradford Airport. You can book your taxi from their office at the airport when you arrive, or from their website www.arrowprivatehire.co.uk/arrow_leeds/, or call them on +44 (0)113 258 5888.
